While not a huge factor in whether we accept you or not, it's good to see how others set up their interfaces and how 'clean' they keep their view. Plus, we some UI lovers.
/played on the character you are applying on, as well as any major previous characters (major being 60+ days): Total: 25 Days, 14 Hours, 31 Minutes Time this level: 12 Days, 13 Hours, 53 Minutes
Do you have Ventrilo as well as a working headset/microphone: Yes Do you have an aversion to talking in any shape or form: No Do you have DBM or some other raid timers installed and in use?: Yes Do you use WeakAuras to track abilities during a fight that are relevant to you?: I use Tell Me When which to my knowledge is very similar. No problems with WeakAuras, just have always used TMW.
Previous Raiding Guilds (include time frame, progression of the guild that you partook in, and any positions held or responsibilities had): Synthesis: Fri-Saturday 11-2:30am EST, I was an officer for over a month in the guild but however there was some major drama within the guild that eventually lead to a disbanding of the raid team. We did fairly average in Highmaul going 2/7M and fairly poor in BRF going 4/10H which may have lead to the disbanding. Celestial Rebirth: Tues, Wed, Fri 10-1am EST, I was assistant raid leader in this guild on Emerald Dream in MoP. The guild was nothing impressive, we ended up getting 7/10N in about 3 weeks after reals but then the guild ended up disbanding.
Reasons for leaving above mentioned guilds: I left Celestial Rebirth because multiple members were leaving the guild and I felt like my skill level was above those I was raiding with. Even though I had planned to stay despite me feeling held back, I felt like leaving along with the others in the guild might be the best time to go. I went on a hiatus from PvE and waited until WoD to join my newest guild synthesis which was formed a month after Highmaul came out. We cleared normal the first week and then heroic the next 2 weeks. I had lots of fun with the group and put forth as much as I could, which ended up in my promotion to officer. However, members weren’t at the skill level that I was and we were having attendance problems with our group. When BRF came out it was easy to see who was trying to do well and who was not pulling their own weight. This quickly caught the attention of other raiders which led to many of the group leaving. The leader of the guild was not very helpful either which mainly led to the officers and me running the group ourselves. After many of the group and officers left I had decided that I should search for a more stable and progressive guild.
What do you want and expect of Space Race: I expect from Space Race the same effort that I put into raiding. I work hard to research my class, fights, and prepare for raids. I feel like those who do not do the same ruin the experience for those who do. I only ask that people do their best to correct their mistakes and share the same passion for raiding as I do.
What can Space Race expect from you: Space Race can expect from me the same level of skill and dedication that they do from every single one of their members. I will represent my guild in the best way I can and perform my absolute best in every raid. You can expect 100% attendance to all raid events as well as things that could help outside raid such as donating food buffs or herbs for flasks. My past guilds have noticed me as someone who tries to benefit the guild as a whole and I will do my best to give Space Race the same. I am also a very quick learner and will never make the same mistake twice.
Over a two-month period, how often will you need to miss a raid so we can account for this in our raid attendance and progression plans: I will be able to have 100% attendance on all raid times, this depends whether or not there are raid times on specific holidays.
Who is your favorite of the nine companions in the Fellowship of the Ring and why? Legolas, he’s a sniper with his bow, not to mention he’s old as fuck but can still kick more ass the than the rest.
If you would like to make any additional comments in your application, do so here: My main goal is to find a steady group that can progress well. I’m not looking to be carried by others and can pull my own weight with the rest of the group. I’ve had some shitty luck with guild drama ruining my raid experience and I’m just looking for a group that can be consistent and fun. TLDR I enjoy raiding and want to spend time with others who feel the same way.
