Your Name:

Age: 32

Character Class/Spec (as well as any relevant offspecs):
Warrior Prot/Gladiator. Willing to play any warrior spec. I happened to be geared for Prot/Glad now. I'm about a trinket away from Fury and a trinket and weapon away from Arms.

Character Name (and armory link):

Screenshot of your UI (preferably during raid):

/played on the character you are applying on, as well as any major previous characters (major being 60+ days):

All dps/tank characters:
47 days Shieldbawl Warrior. Current Main
35 Days Barelroll Monk, Previous main, now alt.
80 days Coldnfuzzy Death Knight, Previous main, now alt.
114 Days Aendes Bare, retired

Do you have Ventrilo as well as a working headset/microphone: Yes
Do you have an aversion to talking in any shape or form: No
Do you have DBM or some other raid timers installed and in use? Yes. I like BigWigs now. I used DBM for years before changing.
Do you use WeakAuras to track abilities during a fight that are relevant to you? No, I use TellMeWhen. TMW's setup makes more sense to me.

Previous Raiding Guilds (include time frame, progression of the guild that you partook in, and any positions held or responsibilities had):

I've been a raid member or raid leader and cleared current content in 2+ tiers for every expansion to WoW. I've been a part of 2 day a week raids and 4/5day progression raids.

KotW Dark Iron. Led cross guild Kharazhan and Serpent Shrine Cavern raids.
Flavour Country, Dark Iron. The Burning Crusade Server firsts in Sunwell.

New guild, name escapes me:
Raid member for Wrath of the Lich King Naxxramus and TOC

Panda Attack guild,
Raid member for t1 cataclysm.
Raid Leader for Firelands in Cataclysm

Raid member in other guilds for MOP and WOD.

Reasons for leaving above mentioned guilds:
I haven't left raiding guilds while the raid is ongoing. I've taken breaks and come back to find the guild stopped raiding and moved on from there. I raided with friends in Boneyards this expansion which quit raiding due to recruitment problems. Pretentious is my current guild and it has stopped raiding due to interpersonal conflicts that I was not involved with.

What do you want and expect of Space Race:

I expect a respectful and responsible raid environment. I expect players who know their class, raiders who collaborate to identify and solve problems, and an involved officer base. I want a friendly playing environment where we can joke during downtime and problems can be discussed without anyone taking personal offense.

What can Space Race expect from you:
Dedicated played with years of experience as a member, leader, and officer. I understand what it takes to keep a good raid going and how difficult it can be to maintain progression in the raid, recruitment in the guild, top performance and low drama from members. I bring a responsible and able player with a mind to help the raid. I can be critical of issues without blaming the player and welcome feedback, discussion, and suggestion of issues that I may encounter. I do not offend easily. I understand random people over the internet can mean well but have difficulty with delivery/reception of comments and discussion.

Provide any relevant WarcraftLog parses:
Tank parses below

I've mainly tanked this expansion. I don't have parses from the raid nights that I was DPS while we trial'd a tank. I'll work on some raid finder logs this weekend.

If you do not have any relevant parses, you will be asked to come to a Sunday alt raid so our Officers can see how you perform as well as act in a raid.

Can do

Can you consistently meet our raid times?
Tuesday 10pm - 1am (y/n):Y
Wednesday 10pm - 1am (y/n):Y
Thursday 10pm - 1am (y/n):Y

Over a two-month period, how often will you need to miss a raid so we can account for this in our raid attendance and progression plans:
These times are ideal for me. I do not expect to miss a night excepting vacation/holiday.

Who is your favorite of the nine companions in the Fellowship of the Ring and why?

If you would like to make any additional comments in your application, do so here:

I think I've been verbose enough here. I welcome an interview or discussion with any officer interested.

Also, thank you for an application process that did not involve creating another account on another guild hosting website!

How well versed are you in Fury/Arms? I see you say you're just a few pieces off, but we've had a few warriors come in and say that and then be fairly subpar at these other specs. Not to say anything of your skill based off previous applicants, just don't want to head down that road again.

Short answer to your question: Not at this raid tier.

Answering your real question: am I good dps? Yes. I play well on every character I main and when blizzard has smiled on my class for a patch I've topped meters consistently.

At 630 gladiator was the best dps for warrior and I saw that when I played. When gear gets to 660+ arms and fury pull ahead.

I dps'd as arms last expansion and leveled with it this expansion. I tried fury at 630 and it just wasn't competitive with gladiator. Gladiator is a much more difficult spec to play than arms and fury right now and I will not have a problem with either of these specs.

I'm a well rounded player confident in both the dps and tank roles. I pull my weight and always look to improve. I'd appreciate the opportunity to see if we are a fit.

Sounds good to me! If you're down, we'd like to bring you in for a heroic farm clear on Tuesday, and if you're free we are likely putting together our normal BRF run on Sunday at 10pm as well.
