Your Name: Tim Highley
Character Class/Spec (as well as any relevant offspecs): Discipline Priest / Prefer Disc, but can play either of the other two specs averagely.
Character Name (and armory link):TimmŸ
RealID: Gogeta #2523
Screenshot of your UI (preferably during raid): I took this a couple of days ago during oregorger trash, not sure what you are looking for
While not a huge factor in whether we accept you or not, it's good to see how others set up their interfaces and how 'clean' they keep their view. Plus, we some UI lovers.
/played on the character you are applying on, as well as any major previous characters (major being 60+ days): Total Time : 28 days 19 hours , This Level: 25days , 21 hours . I've played for over a year back in vanilla days, and raided all the old school raids. I still remember progressing through MC and Onyxia lol.
Do you have Ventrilo as well as a working headset/microphone: Yes
Do you have an aversion to talking in any shape or form: No, I usually end up leading most pugs I join, and my current guild made me an officer and wanted me to be GM because of my ability to clearly convey instructions and talk to people.
Do you have DBM or some other raid timers installed and in use? Yes
Do you use WeakAuras to track abilities during a fight that are relevant to you? Yes
Previous Raiding Guilds (include time frame, progression of the guild that you partook in, and any positions held or responsibilities had): Since returning to the game I joined a guild called Lost Chapter, After a couple of weeks of raiding with them they made me and Officer. I took it upon myself to create a guild site for them and help recruit raiders. The guild fail apart because of the lack of skilled raiders, but toward the end I was stepping up to lead the last couple raids we did. I was main healer. They ended up going 7/7 heroic highmaul, 1/7 mythic highmaul, and 4/7 heroic BRF before we stopped raiding. I was only with them for about a month or so before they fell apart.
Reasons for leaving above mentioned guilds: Haven't left yet, they are dead but a few of us stuck around for guild repairs lol. They just didn't have the skill or the attendance to progress the way allot of people wanted to.
What do you want and expect of Space Race: I want to join a guild of serious raiders, who I can count on to know their role and be able to perform mechanics. I expect be treated the way I treat you all, with respect, and to hopefully contribute to an great progressing mythic guild.
What can Space Race expect from you: You can expect someone that takes the time to work on optimizing their character so that it performs it's duties up to par and also takes the time to learn each fight before the raid. Someone who listens to and respects his fellow raiders (especially officers) and is willing to fill any role required of him, so that the guild can progress. Someone who has worked hard to get some great gear so far and has the ambition and drive to down even harder bosses and get even better loot! Someone you can count on to be there every time and perform every time.
Provide any relevant WarcraftLog parses: I'm sorta new to this log stuff, i don't really keep up with it as much as I should i think. But I found this for my character, i'm not sure if it's relevant but here ya go
If you do not have any relevant parses, you will be asked to come to a Sunday alt raid so our Officers can see how you perform as well as act in a raid.
Can you consistently meet our raid times?
Tuesday 10pm - 1am (y/n):y
Wednesday 10pm - 1am (y/n):y
Thursday 10pm - 1am (y/n):y
Over a two-month period, how often will you need to miss a raid so we can account for this in our raid attendance and progression plans:Shouldn't have to miss any. I am married and have 3 awesome kids, but my wife and family is usually very understanding about raid times. And the raid times happen to fit very nicely with my schedule.
Who is your favorite of the nine companions in the Fellowship of the Ring and why?SAM, i mean cmon. He's a true best friend/companion. He's always lookin' out for frodo and he's just a real good guy, someone you can count on.
If you would like to make any additional comments in your application, do so here: I'm a solid player that you can always count on, whether it be in the raid or in the guild. I don't care to step out of my way to help someone out and I work very well with others. I'll never start drama and you'll never wipe because of me. I don't have time to waste and I don't want to waste yours. So when it's time to raid I'm there to kill bosses, i'm sure we'll all get to be friends and it's nice to joke around a bit, but i'll be serious when it comes down to it. I'm really just soo tired of having to PUG every boss and having to hold hands for ppl or teaching them all the fights. I'm just ready to be part of a group that is more on my level. I really hope you consider me, I think we would make a great fit, please let me know something ASAP. I'll be waiting :D
